Just saw this at Entertainment Weekly website. Looks cool! And I think there is a talk-about that videos from Michael’s rehearsal will be released on DVD but don’t know who owns the right.
Also today, my wife and I went out just to look for TIME magazine’s tribute to Michael Jackson. We went to Best Sellers in Robinson’s Galleria and there are still bunch of copies there. I’m sure there are too in National Bookstores since Best Sellers is merged with them.
We went to SM Megamall to find People and Entertainment Weekly magazines if there are MJ tribute issues available, didn’t find anything.
TIME’s magazine contains lots of double-page spreads, splash, and big pictures of Michael Jackson from his childhood up to the last days of his public appearance. There are also pictures of fans on the first day of his death.
Michael Jackson is truly a timeless, pop culture icon of entertainment and music. He lives in us [fans] forever.
My Father-In-Law (Anne’s father) has same skin disorder so I’m not surprised what’s wrong with him. Michael Jackson was accused of using bleaching cream to lighten up his skin, which made the fans, including myself, mad about it. He said something short about his vitiligo in Oprah’s show and still people didn’t want to believe him.
This video that I’ve seen a year ago, and saddens me to see the progression of his skin disorder. I will feel the same as Michael if I get vitiligo.
Michael is still the old Michael Jackson that I first saw on TV dancing Billie Jean and Thriller. He was an ICON and still and ICON for us fans.
To millions he was the King of Pop; one of the world’s most cherished entertainers and a celebrated international icon. With his untimely passing, Michael Jackson left an extraordinary and tragic legacy. Bluewater Productions is paying tribute in October to his memory and legacy with a special collectors edition biography comic.
I stopped working for a day just to make this short video. A song entitled “Cry” from Invincible album.
I was sad hearing the news here in Philippines first thing in the morning. My wife and I quickly got up the bed to see the news online.
Michael Jackson was my idol way back in my childhood and in my early teens. I used to dance like him and imitate him, I wanted to be like him.
In 1996 he visited Philippines to have a concert, I didn’t go even though I can afford to get a ticket. It was a once in a lifetime too see MJ perform live on stage. I regret that I didn’t see him perform.
Here’s a little tribute to my idol in music and dance. To you MJ and all the fans who love him. A true master of performance. Rest in peace.
This is quite challenging watercolor that I’ve been doing, which I started last December 31st. I’m still not done yet coz it has a full background…I didn’t expect it will take me two days now. Also, I’m new to this watercolor pad that I bought, it is not as tough as I thought like the other one I have been using. The paper’s surface is breaking when I erase a lot. So I thought next time to draw prelims then trace it with the lightbox.
Anyway, I’m only showing just the extreme close-up of her face so I won’t spoil the surprise. I’ll post this when it’s all done.
