Blockbuster in Dallas.

I just wish we have Blockbuster here in Philippines…if anybody know we already have, let me know where! I can’t seem to find any of my favourite DVD’s in some video stores here. When I was off the native land, we went in a Blockbuster store, and they have huge numbers of selections of movies from late 50′s to 2000′s. I just wish I had lots of money when I was there looking at those DVD’s I’ve been wanting to have.

There’s no way to get Region 3′s of some movies I want, so I have to order even though it’s pretty expensive. I want to get Region 1′s or something even with PAL system. What I hate about some DVD’s here, they seem to look like pirated versions…no offense to the makers, but I think I’ll just buy pirated if you sell stuff like these.

I went to Astrovision the other day and asked for Donnie Darko, they were like “What? …sorry we don’t have that on the list.” Can anybody tell me where to get a copy locally of that movie (the Director’s Cut of Donnie Darko)? ‘Coz I had mine left in England along with my LOTR Extended Edition and couple of Star Wars DVD’s.

Oh, some stores here sell crappy movies…like ones I didn’t know it came out. Short Circuit is cool, although I only have the sequel…and DARYL, The Dark Crystal, and The Flight of the Navigator too, I love those kind of movies.
