Using a Schneider color pens and Faber-Castel watercolor pencils are quite good. It looks better in real life, so this one’s somehow changed when I scanned it:
Wonder Woman – test sketch.
I still need to experiment on the pens. Need more colored pens just like Schneider.
From the last entry, I posted the colour guides and shadows for the next Sentry painting I’m doing. Now, the image above will be the figure template for the painting. It means, what you’ll see on this pencil shadings will be used as guides for the final painting.
You might be wondering why I draw too many things before I start doing the actual piece. I’m actually impatient…I want to start on something immediately especially when I’m very excited. I wanted everything to finish in one day. That’s why my other paintings have mistakes when it comes to anatomy and stuff. This time I’m trying to study everything before I do the final painting. It’s a long proces but in the end (hopefully) the painting’s outcome will be good.
Anyway, there will be a bit of delay on this one, coz I have an inking project that just came in and I need to work on them too.
