Practice…yeah.

She’s a friend of mine who was my member of my old message board way back in 2002 or 2003. I like to practice portraits with good shading, especially on the face. On this drawing, I thought I should have drawn her eyes a bit bigger. Anyway, this is just a practice…will draw more of this soon.

Shading practice.

I’ve never do a full-shading on every drawings I make. This is to play safe and avoiding to make the entire drawing really dark. But if by request/demand, or if the character is really a dark character, then that’s alright. Above is just a practice. I wish I can draw Jacara Zar in really dark scenes just like on the first pages of YSB!#3.
